Peer Support and Operation Red Block is available as a network of employees helping other employees.

If you are involved in a grade crossing accident, or a vehicle/pedestrian accident you are entitled to be removed from your train and deadheaded to your home terminal.  You might also be entitled to counseling or lost earning for time off (subject to approval from UP).  Peer support is also available for any issue involving substance abuse, at home or work that you might need to talk about, or need guidance in seeking professional help for.
